It is a lonely state. In<br>recovery, we are told to keep it simple. When we are<br>continually preoccupied with something, we<br>cannot enjoy the world around us. Do I remember<br>what I was worrying about last week?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-cyan-bluish-gray-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-e901f9ef652e5638de0a9d45cc72def1\"><br><strong>We are what we think. All that we are arises<br>with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we<br>make our world. The Buddha<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-cyan-bluish-gray-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-40ea820a7d718d3d7187cde7282c9a84\"><strong><br>The duality of character in so many addicted<br>persons is one reason for complicated thinking.<br>Because our addiction leads us to do so much that<br>is against our better judgement, we are constantly<br>struggling with cognitive dissonance that makes us<br>unhappy. It is so much easier to keep things simple<br>when we are at peace with ourselves.
